I’ve been fascinated by technology since a very early age. It’s amazing to see how new technologies influence and change the way we work and live. I’m CTO at Equippo and have worked in software development for over 15 years. I enjoy spending my free time with my family outdoors, skiing, sailing, and scuba diving. Working with a great, worldwide team to build a super-easy marketplace for construction equipment makes me happy.
I have worked in the capital equipment business most of my career developing international distribution networks. I love the construction equipment world and working with some of the World's largest construction companies. I am always fascinated by the scale and complexity of some of the projects I visit around the globe. It gives me great satisfaction to provide our customers a great service in re-marketing their equipment wherever in the World that requirement might be.
After I drove my first dumper at the age of 8, my steps led me to the worldwide machinery industry. After years living in different countries in Asia, America and Europe, I learned the strength of multi-cultural teams and an expertise of equipment. I specialized in the auction business, and seek to offer a very different approach through a high-quality service. On my free time, I am a rugby fan/player, as well as a sailor and surfer.

I am a Palestinian/Syrian, recently graduated from European Studies (Marketing specialisation) at The Hague University of Applied Sciences. During my study I have learnt about internet marketing tools and I would like to use my knowledge in the work field. I have also studied languages (Spanish and Italian) and adding them to the languages I speak (Arabic, English and Dutch). In my spare time, I like to watch, play and analyse football matches.
I have always wanted to travel around the world and discover new cultures. I studied Economics in Spain and during those years, international trade inevitably caught my attention. I am currently studying international trade and I am in my last year of Bachelor Business Administration. Thanks to my studies I travelled a lot. I love travelling, meeting new people and discovering new cultures. My other interests are boxing, cooking and cycling.
As I am currently in the last steps of my Bachelor in International Management/ Foreign Trade, it seemed to me a very good time to gain some international work experience and at Equippo I can do just that. Here, I am able to work in a young, dynamic and international team.
I've been vaulting ever since I was a kid, so needless to say that I love horses. Other than that I like cooking from time to time.
I am delighted that Equippo is giving me the opportunity to actively contribute my ideas to existing processes. Customer contact is very important to me, because you deal with interesting people every day and the work here never gets boring. In addition, I am on the home straight of my media studies at the TU Ilmenau, where Equippo provides me with great support.
